I want to begin by expressing to you my heart-felt thanks for introducing me to a new world, India. Of course, I knew a bit about India before I went, but it scarcely prepared me for the reality of visiting the place and seeing and feeling and hearing and smelling this extraordinary country. It is such a marvelous experience, one that is unique to India. You were a wonderful guide, quietly efficient, always attentive, making everything happened so apparently effortlessly, though I was not totally unaware of the effort that it took. But you were patient and put up with my eccentricities & my cold & illnesses, for which I am eternally grateful. It can't have been easy. Fortunately we got on well together & enjoyed each other's company.. It was good also that you went to places you had not visited before, like the unforgettable Khajuraho, which was for me the highlight of my Indian tour. The erotic temples were the most beautiful thing I saw in a land filled with beautiful places and things.
I should have no hesitation in recommending your tours as an ideal way of traveling in and getting to know a great country and civilization. Traveling with you, one gets a charming hostess and an entertaining guide and good company.

I just wanted to write and thank you for all of the effort you put in to make my trip to India such a memorable time for me.The program you set out for our group was a very interesting one, and the itinerary I chose personally because of the close contact with the local communities you provided for us. Being a photographer, I really appreciated the effort you made for me to have such opportunities, and I am thrilled with the images I have captured on the trip.
I appreciate the trouble you have taken to let us have this personal insight to India and its people. I think we were very lucky that you have such an incredible enthusiasm and love for India, and that you had some wonderful contacts so that we could see the real India. Your generosity on this trip has allowed me to have a photographic exhibition at a local restaurant for 3 months involving 50 photos so thanks for your patience with me. Marilyn Manning-Shah India Tour Guide Extraordinaire!
Marilyn was my tour guide and planned the trip, with feedback from me, which was a bit of a whirlwind tour - Pune, Delhi, Orchha, Agra, Khajuraho, Varanasi - in 12 days! The best was Marilyn's commentary and interesting information from years of travelling around India, talking to people, making friends with locals and retaining it with her great memory for names, people, places and interesting bits of trivia, which just popped out when necessary, making the moment come alive. Her stories of past experiences, adventures, sad and happy, would fill a book! When trains or planes were delayed, she found out why they were late, when they were coming or organised alternate transport to get us to where we were going. I felt very safe with Marilyn, knowing she was "looking after" me in a foreign land with a totally different culture, language and customs to any I'd experienced before. We visited temples and shrines of all denominations and learnt about the local history from recommended local guides organised by Marilyn and I felt like royalty at times because everything was so well organised. I can thoroughly recommend Marilyn as a Tour Guide. Her enthusiasm, passion and love to share all facets of India and Indian people shows in the organisation and planning with which she wholeheartedly creates her tours. Her gregarious and caring nature engenders a feeling of nurturing and safety which I felt enhanced my trip to India with Marilyn. Thank you very much. See you next year
