Traveling in India can be both challenging and exciting as it is in any Third World country. The novelty of touring in an exotic exciting country is part of the appeal for many visitors, others might experience it differently.
It is important to recognize that the level of service, standards and efficiency in some areas, whilst improving, is not always comparable to more mature destinations in the West.
There is always the possibility that situations beyond our control or unforeseen circumstances may arise. This may necessitate some last minute changes in the travel program or decisions that you may not agree with. We will do our utmost to make the best of any given situation at the time for the good of the whole tour party.
Your patience, tolerance and even humour in such an event, will go a long way towards making your holiday a more rewarding and interesting experience for both yourself and your traveling companions.

PRICE CHANGES NECESSARY:

Due to currency changes between booking and departure there may be a need to have surcharges added. The costs can increase, particularly for hotel accommodation and airfares, the closer the booking is to the departure date. The tour price is determined by the number of people on the tour and availability during high season.
Book early, because once the full fee is paid, the price will be fixed at the current quoted price at that time, with no extra charges.

TRAVEL INSURANCE IS COMPULSORY WITH NO EXCEPTIONS.

A photocopy of the policy to be provided to Indian Discovery before departure. It is essential once deposits are paid to protect yourself against loss of deposits, cancellation charges, medical expenses or loss of personal possessions etc while traveling. Ensure that credit card travel insurance has adequate cover in all areas compared to other companies.
Travel insurance can be organized on the internet or travel agent.

A PERSONAL DETAILS FORM TO BE COMPLETED TO PROVIDE APPROPRIATE INFORMATION TO INDIAN DISCOVERY.

Please disclose any health problems and ensure that you have any medications in the original packaging, A letter from your doctor is needed to state information about your condition and the medication and dosage required to manage it. If you are admitted to hospital, this information would be essential to the medical practioners there.

PASSPORTS

Passport must have more than 6 months validity. Allow 3 weeks for new passport and / or visa which is required to process the application.

PAYMENT TERMS

$500 non refundable deposit to secure booking as places are limited.
Balance to be paid a.s.a.p to secure availability of hotels and airfares
Payment is accepted by cash, bank cheque, internet transfer or PayPal on the website.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Indian Discovery requests cancellation in writing as soon as possible.

• From date of booking to 60 days Forfeit $500 deposit only
• 59 – 45 days + forfeit 30% of package price
• 44 days to departure and after + forfeit 100% package price

Indian Discovery contracts the services of the well respected Delhi travel company TransIndia Holidays to supply the quality services of the land package. We will endeavour to deliver on promises given, but cannot be held responsible for circumstances outside of our control.

• All airport transfers in air conditioned vehicle to and from hotel
• All accommodation – Quality 3/4 star hotel, clean and comfortable – ensuite bathrooms with western toilets
• Twin share basis ( single supplement extra)
• Fully escorted tour with experienced Australian guide and local
• English speaking guides where necessary
• All sightseeing as a private group. Includes all entry fees, special tours, shoe minding and guide fees
• General gratuities for tour services given
• All breakfasts and some other meals

• International airfares and surcharges
• Indian Visa – 6 months with multiple entry
• Travel insurance – comprehensive cover required -
• Upgrades to luxury hotels available on request - POA
• Some meals and all beverages
• Personal laundry, phone calls, shopping and transport during free time
• Any incidentals not specified in itinerary
• Personal tipping or gifting – for personal services ie: bell boys, waiters
• Vaccinations ( Optional )
